After face-to-face gaming was broken up and scattered to the wind because of Covid, I've been hoping to get a face-to-face group together. It didn't help that we moved 100+ miles away, and I didn't know many people where we moved to. I found Garret through r/lfg and we were both pretty excited to get something started, but finding more players to fill out the group wasn't a small task. Ironically, it was my long friend Glenn who suggested a couple more ideas that almost immediately helped me fill out the group (with some waiting in the wings if we lose someone). We decided to start with Pathfinder 2E despite that I'm the only player with experience with the system. It's a lot easier for me to run than D&D5e, it's just more natural for me. To get everyone at least some familiarity with the system, we decided to start with something short and "tutorial like"; the Pathfinder 2e Boxed Set.
Characters: (we're not using the pre-gens; I allowed everyone to make "full blown" characters instead)
- Wood Elf Druid
- Human Monk
- Gnome Alchemist
- Half Ork Ranger
- Human Champion
The follow up campaign after this will be Riverwood Frontier, set on the world of Kaernest.
